Your Chapter 1 Bargaining Team and Eugene School District 4J have reached a tentative agreement on a 3-year contract. The Chapter 1 Bargaining Team recommends our members vote "Yes" on the contract which includes significant gains in the following areas:
- 5% COLA in each of the three years with retro-pay to July 1, 2025
- Increased contributions to benefits in years 2 and 3
- Addition of new Workplace Safety and Safe Learning Environment Article, includes medical services differential
- Ability to grieve violations of Board Policy
- Significant updates to our Transportation Article
- $250 for required safety footwear
- $200 reimbursement for required or approved safety gear
- Pay grade changes to Nutrition Services Coordinator, Bus Driver Training Coordinator, Bus Driver Specialist, Senior Groundskeeper and Licensed Practical Nurse
